within the catalonian society too there are loads of people who are in favor of independence but there are also loads of people who are against independence and who are really opposed to it and this social divide that goes here through catalonia is actually very worrying for many people they're very concerned about that rift here now would you say the supporters and opponents of independence are still on a collision course with a declaration of independence still possible on tuesday. well that is a very good question and it is actually a very a question that is very difficult to answer because there are mixed signals actually on the one hand spanish media reports and quotes lawmakers that say that. everything is still on track that the declaration of independence is already being negotiated within the catalan parliament and that they are actually still due
